Dancing
Here's a great candid moment with Carolina(happy Birthday!) and Evan dancing in the street, taken december 2010 in NY.
Three Portraits
... all with Polaroid 55.
P55, 4x5 and a 150mm is just great for portraits.
Two nightime exposures
I really like the glow of lights at night when there's some fog. These kinds of exposures do come out much better when shot on film, due to the smooth, gradual highlight curve that films have.
These two photos are shot with 4x5 on provia.
Istanbul
Istanbul is especially beautiful in autumn. Here are two photos from the ferries I used to take in the morning, crossing the bosphorus on the way to school. They are 35mm ilford 400.
Late-Afternoon-Office hues
The kodak E100 has great red and magentas, but also overreacts to the green of flourescent light.
...which is not always bad:
in-flight hues
always liked these; hope you do too.
Postcards
Here are some of my favorite postcards that I've found in trift stores. These are from the first half of the 20th century, and some are from the 1910s and 20s. It was an amazing time when photography was becoming truly mainstream and these photo-postcards were very popular.
