I greatly enjoy taking the ferry to the Princes’ islands, and the smaller Heybeliada is great for a stroll.

Another Milky Way Image
Another Milky Way shot, this one taken in Zion National Park. There were some light clouds and moisture in the air and it seems to have acted like a diffusion filter, making the brighter stars appear larger.
Winter Colors in Utah
The sunset colors in Bryce National Park were mesmerizing, and I was not ready for the scale and impact of this place. Can’t wait to go back in the spring.

Milky Way
Had a great time shooting the Milky Way at Joshua Tree national park, and was very pleasantly surprised that the red color of the North America nebula became so visible. On the top right of the first image is the Andromeda galaxy, which is normally 4-5 times the size of the Moon in the night sky but this was a wide angle shot so it appears tiny.
